Filing service payment?

Live on social security income. Had to pay delinquent property taxes last year. No funds at this time for payment for filing services.

You will not have to pay taxes on your social security income, hence you will not have to file as mentioned above by VolvoGirl.  However, if you have any earned income, you may have to file.  If you would like to file, Turbotax does has another free product (FREEDOM Edition) that has totally free Federal and State returns, no upgrades, no fees, etc. if you meet ONE of the qualifications, and are willing to start over.  It can handle all the usual Federal forms that regular Free Edition cannot.  However, you will have to qualify.  Please read the post below to see if you do and then get started.

Filing service payment?

If you ONLY get SSI or  Social Security or Social Security Disability or a SSA-1099 or RRB-1099 for railroad retirement you do not have to file a return.  And there is no benefit to itemizing deductions or claiming dependents.
