My daughter recently filed her 2020, 21,22 and 2023 taxes. In each year, she paid significantly more than her actual tax . The same will be true for years prior to 2020. Should she file years prior to 2020 as well, even though she would not owe any taxes. Thank you. Frank K

It's too late to get a tax refund for 2020 or earlier. Those refunds have been forfeited. So if your daughter would be eligible for a refund for earlier years there is no point in filing the tax returns. If she did file them, she would not get the refund.
If she owes tax for any earlier year she should file the tax return and pay the amount that she owes.
