Filing married jointly where do we fill in both information for deductions ?

Sometimes, TurboTax will prompt you to select the taxpayer for whom the deduction applies.  Otherwise, when your filing status is Married Filing Jointly you will enter the total amount paid for a given deduction.  This deduction will then apply to both spouses.

For example, when entering charitable contributions, you will simply enter your donation.  TurboTax will not ask which spouse made the donation.
