Filing in both Canada and the US

I am a Canadian citizen and resident who worked in the US for 15 years.  I retired last year and began receiving US Social Security as well as CPP.

Do I have to file with the IRS if my only US income was Social Security?

Can TurboTax for both Canada and the US be used on the same laptop?

Filing in both Canada and the US

If you only make money in the US from Social Security, you usually don't need to file with the IRS. This is because Social Security isn't taxed under the US-Canada Tax Treaty for people who are not living in the US. However, you should report both CPP and US Social Security on your aren't. For more details, see IRS Publication 915 and US-Canada Tax Treaty.

Yes, you can use TurboTax for both Canada and the US on the same laptop by purchasing separate versions for each country.
