Filed taxes April of 2024 for 2023 taxes, but no record in TurboTax.

Hello!

While doing my taxes this last spring for 2024, TurboTax informed me that they had no record of the previous year. This is odd, as I’ve used TurboTax since about 2020 for every year. The taxes for 2023 are not filed on their end, or on the IRS’s end, which is very concerning. I do have a receipt of purchasing their services and an email that says “you did it! You’ve filed for the year”. My return was $0 which may be why this has happened. I’m not sure what to do next to find out what happened. I just need to make sure everything is filed away for 2023.

Does anyone know what can be done?

This seems to be an issue with TurboTax not providing the completed prior year 2023 online tax return for certain users.

You will have to contact TurboTax support for assistance with this problem.
