It depends. If you have a signed power of attorney to do the tax return, sure. If not, don't do it. You could get in a lot of trouble including but not limited to - identity theft, falsely filing a return, possibly stolen refund. She might be nice now but in 3 years she could make you pay dearly.

Your post is not clear. Are you asking if you can prepare a tax return for your GF? Or are you asking if you can claim your GF as a dependent on your own tax return?
