Why do i have to file my tax form by mail?

You probably have a form that's not ready yet.  Just wait a while.   If you go through the Review tab it should tell you which forms.  And here is the Turbo Tax lookup tool for availability

There are several reasons you may not be able to e-file your tax return:

• You don’t have any taxable income
• There may not be an amount in box 1 of your W-2
• Your tax return may contain forms that aren't accepted by e-file
