Where are you getting the tax estimate?  What is the rest of your situation?  What types of credits are you getting? How many children do you have?

It is possible that it is correct if you have children and have other credits like education credits.  We would need more information to give you an accurate answer.

The best thing to do is to look at the second page of your form 1040, this will tell you how the numbers are derived.
