FBAR & forms filing included in Turbo Tax Full Service

Who takes care of the FBAR filing, does the TurboTax Full Service takes care of that?

You can file the FBAR yourself through the government's online portal.

Here's some more information on the FBAR and a link to do the filing.

Additionally, you can now file the FBAR through TurboTax!  

• "Do it Yourself and Live Assisted customers can pay $49 to submit FBAR through TurboTax Online after you’ve submitted your Federal and State return.
  1. Your FBAR when submitted through TurboTax Online will use Form 1040 to pre-populate some of the required fields to reduce the amount of manual entry you have to do.
  2. You can only submit an FBAR for yourself, you cannot submit it for someone else.          
• Note: Full Service customers cannot submit FBAR through TurboTax Online at this time.
