I filed for an extension on my 2023 taxes thinking I wasnt going to make it in time, and I did. I was granted the extension, however I did my taxes online, paid and sent them in to TurboTax - I recently logged into my IRS account and see that my taxes werent received. Thats #1 - how do I get them to the IRS? Second question - Im trying to print out the 2023 taxes from TurboTax and they are not allowing me to print them. I reallydont think I should have to pay to install another app to print out taxes that were paid and sent in. I hope someone can help. TYIA

Paying the TurboTax online account fees does not e-file your tax return.
The 2023 tax return had to be e-filed on or before October 15, 2024. If the 2023 return was not e-filed then it can only be printed and mailed.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
If the above did not happen then you will have to print, sign, date and mail the tax return. Include with the mailed tax return all forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

When you sign onto your TurboTax online account and you are not seeing the 2023 tax return available, you will need to contact TurboTax support for assistance with this problem.
