Euro usd exchange rates

Quick but very important question for me. Received foreign gift above 100k, currently, it is stated in euros and need to be converted in dollars. 

Can I used yahoo finance such as:

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/EURUSD%3DX/history?p=EURUSD%3DX

to get the exchange rate. 

I need the one for 10/28/20 and it is listed at 1.1784. Other sites, it differs and it is all over the place.

please let me know if use of yahoo finance is good. Thanks

Yes you can.

The IRS has no official exchange rate. 

You can use one that applies to your specific facts and circumstances.
