Estimated Tax Payments - SMLLC

Hi there - I will be incorporating as an LLC this month. When making my quarterly estimated tax payments, should I use my SSN since I wasn't incorporated January-March or my EIN? Does it matter either way?

Just want to make sure I'm as organized as possible!

No. The LLC is a legal entity.

You should apply for an EIN for the LLC and use it when you paid estimated taxes. The first installment for 2021 is due on April 15, 2021.

Thanks for the reply! I understand it is a legal entity but I wasn't sure if I should use the EIN for my first quarterly payment since I invoiced my clients Jan-March before it was established.

I would use the EIN so it is credited properly and at the time you are submitting the payment you have the EIN.
