Error in Turbotax 2025

Be aware that when you start TurboTax you are asked to enter your mailing address. That address ends up showing on the actual federal form as your home address. So, be sure to enter your actual home address, not your mailing address if it is different from your home address.

TurboTax needs to fix this.

TurboTax does not have to fix anything. The address on your federal tax return is the address where you want to receive any mail that the IRS might send to you. It does not have to be where you actually live.
