When importing, make sure TurboTax and Windows or your Mac operating system are both updated, and temporarily disable all anti-virus software (including modem). Some users reported that disabling security software solved the issue. You might also try restarting your device, and using a different browser (Chrome generally works well).

its almost April and im getting the same error.
first thing im doing which is actual taxes. they should be embarrassed.
Not all employers are available or have been associated with TurboTax for importing purposes. See previous response from @MonikaK1 and enter your W-2 manually.
When I click on "Add W2" the screen goes blank. I do not have option to import or manually enter the data. This did not happen when I did my Son's taxes. The recent update to TurboTax causes this. Can this be fixed?
What TurboTax program are you using and is it Online or Desktop?
Are you sure you are not still in your son's return?
Thanks, but everything goes blank as soon as I click on W2 box. I cannot do anything.
I am using the Desktop version of TT Premier.
My son's return was filed already without any problem.
Have you tried Forms Mode? Make sure your software is fully updated - Do a manual update if necessary. And since the desktop software does interact with the internet, clear your cache and cookies too. Believe it or not, that is often the fix.
I just manually entered a W-2 into TurboTax Premier with no problems and I updated the software a few hours ago. If you continue to have issues - Contact Support
I clicked on Add another W-2, skipped the import, selected I'll type it in myself and got the following screen - no errors.
