I accidentally entered an item twice on the Capital Asset Sales Worksheet and want to get rid of the duplicate entry. I cannot figure out a way to do so and it's then flagged as an error because of the invalid fields.

You can edit/enter a tax form by:
1. Open (continue) your return if you don't already have it open.
2. You may need to click on the orange button “Take me to my return”
3. Search for the form you want to change (e.g., W-2, 1099-R, etc. -- upper- or lower-case, with or without the dash).
4. Click on the Magnifying Glass icon (or just hit Enter key).
5. Click the "Jump to" link highlighted in Blue.
6. On that form’s summary page, you can Edit (or Revisit) your current information.

This reply is complete nonsense. You did nothing to answer the question posed, so I'll do so, since a previous poster also never received a useful response.
One way to resolve the issue is to just change the Property Description to "N/A", enter valid dates for Sold and Acquired dates, and then just entering Cost and Sales Price entries of $0.
