entering sale of virtual currency

I entered the sale of virtual currency under stock, mutual funds, bonds.  I am using the CD Turbo Tax Premium.  I did not get a 1099B for these sales

It did not give me the option to enter the financial institution.  When I pull up the form 8949 it has no financial institution see attached statements.  Do I need to do anything or is it OK the way it is

What you've posted is good, but let's go back and check a few things.

Log back in and go to 

1. Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
2. You will see Your investment sales summary 
3. This is where your broker is listed
4. Select review and you can enter the Broker (This does not affect the 8949).
5. Here are your XXXXX sales section totals
6. Select the pen on the right to edit
7. Now, we'll enter one sales section total on your XXXXX 1099-B
8. There is a drop down for the sales section 9This does affect the 8949)
9. Select either 
   1. Short term basis reported to the IRS or
   2. Long term basis reported to the IRS or

A short term transaction is one that occurs in a year or less.

A long term transaction will be for more than a year and a day.

I appreciate your quick response but when I go to Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other I see my investment sales summary but there is no option review.  The option I have is update and it takes me back to the sale I have entered but does not give me anywhere to put the financial institute.  I am using intuit turbotax Premier CD.  Please let me know if I need to enter the financial  institute or if it is not needed.  I  need help with this.  Is there a phone number for me to call or can you let me know what else I can do.

You don't need to enter name of the financial institution on Form 8949. The information there must contains description and of quantity of property, for example 10.000 BTUSD, date acquired, date sold, proceed and cost basis.
