What you've posted is good, but let's go back and check a few things.
Log back in and go to
- Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
- You will see Your investment sales summary
- This is where your broker is listed
- Select review and you can enter the Broker (This does not affect the 8949).
- Here are your XXXXX sales section totals
- Select the pen on the right to edit
- Now, we'll enter one sales section total on your XXXXX 1099-B
- There is a drop down for the sales section 9This does affect the 8949)
- Select either
- Short term basis reported to the IRS or
- Long term basis reported to the IRS or
A short term transaction is one that occurs in a year or less.
A long term transaction will be for more than a year and a day.
