Entering Medical Expenses

I am unable to update medical expenses in the online version. The system says ‘thanks you’re all set’ after selecting medical on thr deductions homepage after and after also scrolling down and selecting medical-edit. How to resolve this? I read one person said he had to delete all entries and start over, please no, that can’t be the answer
