Entering interest income manually

I am unable to manually enter dividend and interest income. There was a list of 1099s to approve so the information should be in Turbo Tax. If I enter an institution that is not on the download list I used to get a form to enter them manually but not now. If I go to add investments where there are 5 boxes and click on one, say interest, a check mark appears in that box and nothing else happens.

Entering interest income manually

Yes, you should be able to add this information manually.

  1. Open your return: If it's not already open, continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. Go to Wages and income
  3. Scroll to to Investments and Savings1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, Crypto Gain/Loss Report
  4. Select Interest on 1099-INT or Dividend 1099-DIV
  5. Answer the questions: When asked if you received any interest or dividend income, answer "Yes."
  6. Choose manual entry: If prompted to import your form, select the option to type it in yourself.

Please, let us know if this works.
