After going through the steps in TurboTax to create and e-file the 1099-NECs for my business, I was trying to determine if the PDF/form would be mailed/emailed to the recipient? If not, do I have to download each one individually and then email them or mail them myself to the recipient?
I have 30-50 to do so having it done automatically would be great! And since one of the required fields in the online submission form is the recipients' email address, I'm hoping that's done automatically.

You cannot e-mail the forms in Quick Employer Forms.

That only sends to the IRS - from what I read. That's kinda why I'm asking here.
Does that ALSO send to the recipient? And if so, when? I filed Monday but none of my recipients have received their forms yet. If I need to do them by hand - download each one and then email it - I need to start now.
No it doesn't send to the recipient, sorry. You have to print and mail them yourself.

The QEF says.....
Quick Employer Forms no longer offers that service. We apologize for any inconvenience. Use the PDF button next to each form to print the recipient copies and mail copies to recipients by January 31. This due date is extended to February 15, for 1099-MISC with amounts reported in box 8 or 10.
