I just filed electronically both my federal and state returns. Both returns were rejected. The state return had no message as to why it was rejected. The federal return stated the return can not be currently processed for e-filing due to entries on 3800 page 9. The return was not e-filed due to a processing error that will be corrected on March 27, 2025. After that date resubmit for filing.
My question is since my federal return could not be processed, is that the reason my state return was rejected? If not what steps do I take to determine the issue with my state return since there was no error messages provided?

Yes, if your Federal return rejected, that is the reason why your State return rejected. Once the processing error is corrected on March 27, 2025, you can re-file both your Federal and State Returns.
I received this same error. What is causing this problem and why do I have to wait until March 27 to correct/file?
Yes, please wait until later today or tomorrow and then you should be able to successfully file.
I am receiving this message too: This return can not currently be processed for e-filing due to entries on 3800 page 9
And I have attempted to resubmit twice, but it keeps coming back with it.....tech help had no answers.
Thoughts?
I just re-submitted my federal and state tax returns electronically and no errors were encountered this time. Both have been accepted.
Thanks for correcting the code base which fixed this error.
