Electronic Filing - Additional ID Verification
My 91 year old mother only has an expired driver's license. Can this still be used "Additional ID Verification" for filing an electronic tax return?
Yes, the system should accept it even with it being expired. Providing her driver's license information is not required for federal taxes and in most states. For more information please visit this thread by clicking here.
