What is an "EAN" number? Are you referring to an EIN?

However, in the world of the IRS, there is no such thing as an EAN.

I see that some people in the payroll industry use EAN (Employer Account Number) for state governments, but since we deal with income tax and not payroll, it is not a term we see.
