Question

E-Filing multiple tax returns

The program states you can e-file 5 federal returns and 3 state returns.  I e-filed 3 Federal and 2 State returns and it refused to allow me to efile a 4th Federal return.  So it seems that the program isn't counting by return type but instead counting by total returns.  That is a problem - is there a fix?

I did and they gave me wrong information.  It turns out it is not 5 per IP address but instead  5 per Turbo tax license.  They need to update the information they have stating it's an IRS ruling when in fact they have programmed it for the Turbo Tax license and not by IP address

It's not a TurboTax rule, it's an IRS rule for using DIY tax preparation software. The IRS knows how many you have efiled. This is applicable for the same email address/phone number.
