Please clarify something. You mentioned a form 1099-B. Is that correct or a typo? A form 1099-B is usually used to reports capital gains/losses from sales of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other capital assets. Did you have those types of transactions and thus received a 1099-B?
It looks like the tag below your question says you are using "Online Deluxe." If you need to report a Form 1099-B, that cannot be handled by online Deluxe. In Online TurboTax that would require an upgrade to Premium. I would think if you had tried to enter a 1099-B, it would have signaled a need for an upgrade.
Also, do you qualify for the military discount; i.e, free tax preparation for E1-E9 active duty military? If so, then Premium edition is also free with that offer. More info on the free military offer:
