E file amended 2022 return

I filed my 2022 return and it was accepted.  I did the amended return on my Turbo Tax Premier and wanted to file it on line to change from standard to itemized deductions.  The amounts were correct but the file which included the 2022 1040 that was accepted now shows the calculations for the amounts on the amended return.  I am not sure what is submitted to the IRS when the amended return is e-filed.  I thought if I mailed the 1040X the only form I would have to attach is the accepted original 1040.  However, the one with the 1040x file is not the same as the one that was e-filed and accepted.   My question is what forms are filed with an e-file 1040X?  And would this cause my 1040X to be rejected?

If you only changed from taking the Standard Deduction to Itemizing, you would include Schedule A (Itemized Deductions) with Form 1040X. 

If you are using TurboTax, you may be able to e-file the 1040X in which case TurboTax will include the needed Schedule A.
