When I try to have my 1099 input to Turbo Tax the message window says “Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to TurboTax”.
However, no files are loaded into my tax report. I have tried multiple times with the exact same result. I cleared my cookies cache in Safari with no effect.
I have a very large amount of tax data to import from Northwestern who is a partner with Intuit. Without this download function the TurboTax program is much less useful.

Can you clarify if the information is showing in the tax return summary? To view the tax return summary follow these steps in TurboTax Online:
If using TurboTax Desktop, click forms and view to see if the 1099B forms have been included.
I am using TurboTax desk top. I have looked in multiple locations to see if the information was downloaded into the tax report. I looked in forms view, the “help me view. No calculations were altered again indicating there was no information loaded that I was not seeing.
I ultimately resorted to manually entering all of the data. Took quite a while but it’s done.
Hi
I have an M3 mac and Deluxe desktop version of Turbotax. Northwestern Mutual doesnot download under using the Mac operating system. However I also have parallels installed on my Mac and can run Windows 11 as a virtual machine. I installed turbotax in the virtual windows 11 machine. Northwestern mutual now downloads all of its data to the tax program. I suggest that this is something that Turbotax has to fix. It's not a problem with NWM.
The issue with importing from Northwestern has been addressed and you should be able to proceed now.
First, make sure your program is updated. This can be done by logging into your desktop product. Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.
If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.
Then, follow these steps to import your 1099.
