I moved to Arizona in April and I have been paying both Arizona and California state tax due to a employer mistake. I lived and worked in California before transferring jobs. I filed part year residents for both states but who do I file a tax credit with ? Arizona or California? Or how do I file to get my money back ?

If you lived and worked in both California and Arizona, and if your Employer allocated your income correctly between the two states on your W-2, ideally you would neither owe nor get a refund from either state (or not much of one).
Report only your Arizona income and Arizona tax on your Arizona Part-Year Return. If the tax withheld was correct for the amount of income, you should about break even.
Same scenario for California.

The problem is that I live and work in Arizona but I was still getting taxed by California.
So it sounds like you paid too much California tax (taxed on income earned in Arizona).
When you report your actual California earnings on your Part-Year Resident return, and the amount of tax you paid to California, you should get a refund from California.
