Just submitted my return 10 minutes ago. Looks like the status is pending.. but looks like an error occurred?

Sometimes clearing your cookies or doing an update can help with error messages.  First, ave your return, then close your return and follow the steps below to see what you need to do depending on the version of TurboTax you are using:

• If using TurboTax Online: Clear your cache and cookies. See this FAQ, for your particular browser.
  • You can also try using a different browser
• If using TurboTax Desktop: Please see this FAQ.
  • Make sure you have ran all the updates

Yes same here, my tax return shows as submitted and pending with the message - 

"Oops-an issue occurred. Please check back shortly."

You can check that your return was received by the taxing authority  using these instructions: Check the Electronic Postmark of your Return. Pay close attention to the separate lines for Federal and State. They are separate statuses.
