Does Turbo Tax system allow to attach or enclose an explanatory note to Form 1040 or in any other place when filing the tax return?

Can a explanatory note be attached when filing Form 1040 online? Is there any way to add to the tax return an explanatory note related s to some particularity of an individual case?

If your tax return requires an attachment and/or explanation statement. you generally  can't e-File in TurboTax. You have to file a paper return via US Mail or FEDEX. There are a few places in TurboTax where an explanation statement can be typed in by you and included with your e-File - you will be give a prompt box to type.

For one example, you can type in an explanation for why you are amending a tax return. You  would encounter these situations as you prepare your return.
