Does the non-custodial parent need a child's ssn in order to file? Even though he cannot claim that child as a dependent?
If you are the non-custodial parent and are not claiming the child's personal exemption on your tax return, the child should not be listed as a dependent in the My Info section of the program. Delete the child as a dependent if shown.
