No, it does not cost more if you have multiple W-2's from multiple jobs; you can prepare those at the same product price. Be sure you have received all your W-2's in January before you try to file.
TIP:
Do not file your return before receiving all of your actual W-2's, any 1099 (if applicable), etc. It's not recommended to solely rely on check stubs, which could result in the need for an amended return. There is often extra information on the W-2, or there may be attached info that comes with it about your tips/overtime.
Even in January don't be in a big hurry to file. The IRS will not open for processing of efiled returns (historically) until approx. the last week of January. While TurboTax may start allowing efiling in early January, those early returns would just sit on TurboTax servers until the IRS opens for tax season (except for a tiny number of returns the IRS pulls early for testing.) As a result, those early-filed returns cannot be retrieved if you notice any errors, get an additional W-2, need to make any changes, tax forms are revised, etc., and would require an amended return to correct anything, which can be a hassle.
Also, please see the Tip I just added to my comment above.
@arterberry0511 And depending if you only have W2 income and not other kinds of income like investments, you might be able to use the Free Edition for federal and state.
