Does having and using my IP PIN help the IRS process my refund faster?

No, not any faster than anyone else's but if you are required to have an IP PIN but don't enter one, that will definitely delay the processing of your refund.

Okay. Thanks. I was just wondering. I seem to always have to wait months for my return. But this year I actually had my IP PIN ready and available when I filed. I've always been that one was sent out to me but I've never received one which led to me having to verify my identity.

Consider changing your withholding so that you do not have to wait for a refund at tax time.

shevon81 I had to file this year without my ip pin..... I noticed u said u had to wait months n verify your identity.... what has ur process n time frame been?
