Not necessarily.

You are able to import your crypto transactions from your exchange into TurboTax.  See TurboTax Help here.

If Cointracker or another crypto software will generate a CSV file, the CSV file may be imported directly into TurboTax.  See TurboTax Help here.

In the TurboTax Investor Center, you are able to import digital asset exchanges and wallets, including NFTs, to automatically calculate capital gains and losses.

The TurboTax Investor Center then generates a CSV file which is imported into TurboTax.
