Do i efile first and then go to direct pay form, or the other way around. will the irs be able to connect return from turbo tax and irs site?

Do i efile first and then go to direct pay form, or the other way around. will the irs be able to connect return from turbo tax and irs site?

Either way is fine. The IRS will credit the payment to your account whether or not you have filed a return yet.
