Does filing through turbo tax provide direct deposit information to IRS for the upcoming stimulus payments if you aren't receiving a tax refund?

If you have taxes owed and pay the taxes owed by direct debit from your bank account then the IRS has your bank information.
If you have not used direct deposit or direct debit for either a 2018 or 2019 federal tax return, then any stimulus funds you are eligible to receive will be sent by check in the mail.
If I claimed, senior citizen sister as a dependent. Will she still receive her own stimulus check in the mail? How will senior citizens that don’t do an E file receive their checks?
Hello. I've seen conflicting on if I would get the stimulus payment to the bank account I used for Direct DEBIT.
Is there any official word on this? Thanks Vet, and thanks for your service!
Where have you seen definitive information that the IRS will use debit info as deposit info for the stimulus check ? Can you post that source ?
In my opinion using debit info can be scary ... you can have the debit happen from accounts that will not allow a deposit like a credit card or you could have used someone else's bank account to pay your balance due ... seems like a bad idea.

Nope...nothing definitive. That was an assumption I made a week ago. Since this thing is a moving target, that information may no longer be valid.
Hey guys. I just spoke with a tax rep at H and R block, and she said she got pinged by the IRS and the IRS said they will use the bank account info LISTED to send out the stimulus checks.
"pinged" what is that ?
And the fact that the IRS will use the Direct DEPOSIT info on the return for the stimulus check is not in contention ... what is unknown is if they will use the Direct DEBIT info used to pay a balance due for the DD of the stimulus check. There is no specific information on this subject yet from ANY reputable source, only conjecture.

The image attached seems to show that it's the bank account on file.
