I purchased turbotax through amazon but inadvertently did all the work on turbotax online. Is there anyway to move all the info without redoing it all together?

TurboTax allows you to move from TurboTax Online to TurboTax CD\Desktop. Your information is saved up to the point of transfer so nothing is lost. You cannot go from CD\Desktop to Online once you’ve started your return. See How do I switch from TurboTax Online to the TurboTax software?

The CD\Desktop program allows you to do some complex calculations that are supported by TurboTax online such as Form 982, Reduction of Tax Attributes Due to Discharge of Indebtedness.

Hi,

I'm in Canada. I could not find the option to export the online version to a .tax file that I can open with the desktop application. Is it even possible with TurboTax Canada?
