Desktop to online exchange

I bought desktop and wanted online. I chose the upgrade to online but during initial questions, when it asked how I filed last year, it does not find 2024 online which I did use. I think it is because I switched machines?? But if I filed online, why isn't it finding my 2024 taxes?

Did you sign onto the 2025 online account using the exact same User ID used to create the 2024 online account?

@SuzPfisterer If that is so, then when you started the 2025 online tax return the 2024 return would have transferred over.
