So my Aunt is claiming me as a dependent on her tax return and the address on my w2 is wrong will this create a problem when filing and will the refunded money get lost? Edit: I don’t have to file because I made less than $12,550

The address on the W-2 and the address on your tax return do not have to be the same.  People move all the time.

When completing your tax return make sure that you have indicated that you can be claimed as a dependent before you file the tax return.

Your aunt does not claim your W-2 income on her tax return.  If you have enough income to have to file (or need to claim a refund of withholding), you have  to file your own return.  As others have  said, be sure to indicate that you can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return.

No, you do not have to file if your earned income is only on the W-2 and is less than $12,550.  However, if you had federal and/or state taxes withheld from your wages you would want to file to get a full refund of the taxes withheld.
