My son was 24 in2020 and a full time student . Is he my dependent or a qualifing relative, but he earned 15,000 in 2020.?. 1. For the tuition deduction?

And Question2. Are his medical insurance premiums deductible in my return?

I'm getting mixed information on the age rule. Some say he has to be under 24, others say 24 as in this post from this website;

They are under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students).

    Sorry but no.   Too old and too much income to be a dependent.

    He had to be no older than 23 on Dec. 31, 2020 to be a qualifying child, and earn less then $4,300 to be a qualifying relative.
