Dependent having small W2 income

My Son did the summer job and having small W2 income. I am understating that I can't enter his W2 income with my return so he has to file his own return, but I can still enter his 1098-T college fee form with my return. I am claiming him as dependent in my return and he has to claim that someone is showing him as dependent.

Anything else I need to verify/enter ?

Dependent having small W2 income

You do not report your son's income on your return.

You can claim him as a dependent if he is under 24 and a full-time student. And you can claim his education credits on your tax return.

If his income is wages reported on form W-2, he is not required to file a tax return if he earned less than $12,950. However, if he had taxes withheld, he can file a tax return to claim a refund.

If he files a tax return, he has to indicate in TurboTax that he can be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
