Deleting Dependent from State Return

I deleted a dependent in my federal return. When doing my Indiana State return, I have errors about this, and it won't let me delete the dependent information in the state return. Help?

You will have to delete your state return and prepare it again, as you can't edit dependent information in the state return.

accidently indicated that I would not be a dependent on another's return and created form 8862. Can't get to efile with the error saying box 4 on the form should be blank
