I received an SSA-1099 for my deceased parent, and have been told I need to report this on my own return.
Box 1 has my first name and O/A/O.
Box 2 has my parent's SS number.
Box 7 has my first name and O/A/O, my parent's full name and DEC'D, and my full address.
Two questions:
1) Do I report this on my return under Wages and Income/SSA?
2) Will my parent's SS number on the SSA 1099 form create any mix up?
