I inputted info from my 1099-B form and now Turbo software indicates that the entry "Needs Review". Now the inputted data is locked and I can't even delete it and start over.

Please clarify which version of TurboTax you are using. Did you import Form 1099-B or did you enter the information manually? When you navigate to your Investment Sales Summary page, is there a trashcan icon beside the Edit button on the line for the transactions needing review?
I am using the Deluxe version of Turbotax. The info from 1099-B was inputted manually, not electronically. And lastly, the Investment Sales Summary screen that I see does not have a trashcan icon.
If you are using TurboTax online, first try clearing your cache and cookies then sign back in and revisit the Investment section. If that doesn't work, you may need to delete the 1099-B worksheets, Schedule D and Form 8949 if needed.
