Tried purchasing from Sam's Club and Costco, but neither show a discount at check-out.

What's the discount?   I don't see any promo on Turbo Tax or Costco.   You would have to ask Sam's or Costco.  Each place sets their own prices.

TurboTax has no control over prices, sales, or discounts from other sellers. You have to contact Sam's Club or Costco.

It's not clear where you got the discount offer from. If you received a discount offer from TurboTax, you have to purchase directly from TurboTax.com, unless the offer specifically says that it's valid at Sam's Club or Costco.

It also shows various stores where it is/was available. (Supposedly)
