I am using Turbo Tax Deluxe 2022 (Federal and State) for desktop on Windows 10, filing my taxes for 2022. Today is 02/12/2023, and that's what I entered as my Signature Date. Turbo Tax is complaining that my Signature Date is invalid. It's saying that the date must be between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023, which it obviously is. My laptop date is correct. Any idea what's going on?
My Turbo Tax version is
022..000..0407

I closed and re-opened Turbo Tax, and it was no longer asking me for the signature date. Instead, I saw this:
"We found 0 area on your federal return where we'll need to review your entries. We'll handle them one at a time"
That's a strange message but after that, things seem to be working OK again. If I encounter any more weirdness I will make that call. Thanks for your help.

@metrangia Hi, Were you able to get this fixed? I am facing the same thing and the default answer I am getting is just mail the return but I would like to know exactly whats going on here as it looks like a software bug.
Try deleting and re-entering it to ensure there are no extra spaces before and after the date.
If those steps do not resolve the issue, please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support. This FAQ will provide you with the steps to contact an agent.
I had this too, in TurboTax 2024 desktop on Mac. For me it was:
1. Asked for signature date, put it in
2. TurboTax says it's invalid, and I need to correct. I try just clicking continue, since it's already in the required range.
3. TurboTax still says it's invalid. I click continue a second time, and this time it's accepted.
I didn't change the date in the field at all, I just clicked continue twice and it worked the second time.
@sintas I closed and re-opened Turbo Tax, and everything was OK after that. It must be a software bug.
