Clarify 457B question asked by turbotax after w2. Question in help, was it mandatory-yes. then it assumes it was employer provided- but it was not. how to answer?

not sure why this is being asked or what difference the answer makes. it was pretax.

Please clarify your question.

• Do you have a 457-B plan on a W-2?
• Was it mandatory? - you respond Yes!
• If it is on the W-2, why would it not be an employee sponsored Plan?
• If you resign, can you take it with you without rolling it over?
