A dependent over age 16 is not eligible for the stimulus. Also if you CAN claim a dependent, reguardless of age, the dependent cannot claim them self.

claiming a dependent that is 18+
For 2020, there is no stimulus money for dependents over 16. The first two dependent stimulus payments ($500 and $600) were only for children under 17.
The third stimulus ($1400) is for all dependents, regardless of age, but is technically for tax year 2021. If you file a 2020 return, claiming your daughter, there's a chance the IRS will send you a $1400 deposit (separate from your own 2020 stimulus/refund). Otherwise, you will have to claim it when you file your 2021 tax return AND she must still be a dependent in 2021. If she is not your dependent, in 2021, she will will be able to claim the $1400 by filing her own 2021 tax return (in early 2022).
