Claim of right repayment over $3,000

I paid pack 3336 tuition reimbursement from a previous company in march 2016, in 2015 received money from the company for classes, so it was not deducted in my 2015 return, but I had to paid back in 2016 when I left the company. the total paid back was Claim of right repayment over $3,336. Can I use this option to claim this amount?
