You can.

If you are selecting Itemized Deductions (rather that the Standard Deduction) enter the donations you made under "Deductions & Credits" scroll down to "Charitable Donations"

This amount will be added to your Schedule A

If you plan to use the Standard Deduction (rather than Itemizing) and wish to take advantage of the "Charitable Contributions when using the Standard Deduction", DO NOT ENTER ANY CASH DONATIONS under Deduction & Credits. The question will be asked at the VERY END of the Final Review (after the state just before filing)

The maximum is 600 Married Filing Jointly and 300 for all others.

Can taxpayers who take standard deduction for 2021 also take a credit for charity? It was $300 for 2020.

Yes. Individuals who do not itemize can claim a deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made to qualified charities during 2021, while married individuals filing joint returns can claim up to $600.
